Supporting Buddhist Education in English: SuttaCentral's Pirivena Project

Ngagyur Palyul Ling is pleased to support SuttaCentral's Pirivena Project, an initiative aimed at making the Buddha's teachings more accessible to English-speaking students and practitioners around the world. The project focuses on translating, organizing, and publishing core Buddhist texts sutras, commentaries, and monastic training materials in clear, accurate English.

This effort reflects the monastery's ongoing commitment to Buddhist education beyond its own community, helping build a bridge between traditional Tibetan scholarship and a global audience seeking to study the Dharma in their own language.

The Pirivena Project welcomes contributions from translators, editors, and sponsors who wish to support the accessibility of these teachings. Those interested in supporting the project, whether through translation work, editorial review, or financial sponsorship, are encouraged to reach out to the monastery office for more information.
